UP State Archives in Lucknow to get a gallery depicting India's freedom struggle

To mark 75 years of independence, the Culture Department of UP will also produce and screen 75 short films on patriotism

Instilling patriotic fervour in the city folks, the Government Archives in Lucknow is all set to get a gallery depicting 'Azaadi ki Gauravgatha'. With this, people in Lucknow will soon be able to know more about the saga of independence by walking down this gallery showcasing the real heroic acts of our freedom fighters and martyrs.

75 books to mark 75 years of independence! 

In the same strive, the Culture Department of Uttar Pradesh will also publish 75 books on the rich history of each district of the state to celebrate 75 years of independence. Additionally, 75 short films on patriotism will also be produced and screen by the Culture Department.

To infuse the spirit of patriotism in children from an early age, the Culture Department will also establish statues and pride plaques eulogising the efforts of freedom fighters in certain government schools across the state.

Apart from being a much-needed tribute to the real heroes of our country, these initiatives will continue to remind the citizens about the the great Indian freedom struggle.
