UP's Mahakumbh 2025 crosses borders! Promotional roadshows to be held across India & abroad

Government has also decided to rope in AI to ensure safety of devotees.

As Mahakumbh 2025 is inching closer, the UP Government is getting ready with measures to ensure a seamless, mega event in Prayagraj. To promote the festival in India and abroad, the government has planned road shows across the nation and in countries like Mauritius, Indonesia, Thailand, and Nepal.

In India, these roadshows will be held in Patna, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Dehradun, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Pune, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

AI cameras to watch over crowds and help in reuniting lost devotees

Furthermore, steps are also being taken at a rapid pace to ensure complete safety for the pilgrims. A total of 328 AI-cameras are being installed across the site for 24x7 surveillance over the huge crowds. Apart from that, social media platforms will also be used for prompt updates in attempts to find and reunite any lost devotees with their families.
