In a noteworthy development, a new Vande Bharat service will be available between Lucknow and Dehradun, bringing enhanced connectivity to the two cities. This semi-high-speed train is scheduled to be flagged off from Dehradun on March 12, covering the 750 km distance between both state capitals in just 8 hours.
The Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week between Dehradun and Lucknow, making halts at Haridwar, Moradabad, and Bareilly stations.
Departing from Dehradun at 2:45 PM, it will reach Lucknow at 10:40 PM, with stops at Haridwar, Moradabad, and Bareilly.
The return journey from Lucknow will commence at 5:15 AM, passing through Bareilly, Moradabad, and concluding at Dehradun by 1:35 PM.
Another Vande Bharat train is set to launch between Patna and Lucknow on March 12, further enhancing connectivity.
Operating from Patna Junction to Lucknow's Gomti Nagar station, this train will depart at 6:05 AM, and arrive in Lucknow at 2:30 PM.
The return journey will start from Gomti Nagar at 3:20 PM, and terminate in Patna by 11:45 PM.
Additionally, the existing Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat service (22549/22550) will be extended to Prayagraj Junction.
