With the second surge of COVID-19 in Uttar Pradesh, the attention of the media and philanthropists from Lucknow is largely focused on the availability of oxygen cylinders, vaccination drives and similar issues. However, in all this chaos, many have forgotten that our city is also grappling with issues related to hunger and poverty as well.

Stepping up to the occasion and catering to the needs of underprivileged children and people living below the poverty line, is the Vishalakshi Foundation, whose drives across Lucknow have proved quite beneficial.

Be the change you wish to see!

In today's times, quite a few empaths- people and conglomerates, are coming forward and doing their bit for the well-being of society. Vishalakshi Foundation, functioning across Delhi, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Banda, Amroha, Noida, Fatehpur, Ranchi and Jaipur, is one such charitable organisation.

Presently, Vishalakshi Foundation is inviting people to spread the message regarding their latest initiative, under which they will distribute food packets among the needy of Lucknow. Apart from such hunger drives, other projects which are related to the foundation are- Dream Slum Project and Masti Ki Paathshala.

With these initiatives, they wish to especially uplift the subhuman conditions in which children belonging to slum areas live. They provide these children with free food and education so that they can become a better version of themselves.

Knock Knock

Following the famous saying- "Be the change you wish to see in the world", Vishalakshi Foundation is taking lead in improving the quality of life of the underprivileged. They are fighting for the right to survival, protection, development and participation of those belonging to the disadvantaged section of society by providing them basic necessities. It is indeed a commendable initiative for which you can volunteer here.
