Listen up, Lucknowites, we've got some exciting news to drop! This December is shaping up to be absolutely dynamite for the whole city because the iconic Repertwahr Festival is gonna be here for its 11th edition.

If you ask us, there's no chance of keeping calm because the sheer energy and vibrance that this groovy extravaganza brings with it, is truly unmatched. Like its previous versions, this edition is all set to throw a bash for the city – complete with nationally acclaimed theatre plays, concert performances, stand-up comedy shows featuring the finest comics from across the country, a literature stage, and a whole lot more!

So, to give you an additional scoop, may we colour you intrigued?

Lucknow's ever-so-legendary affair set for a grand comeback

So, to give a quick introduction to this rad festival, the origins of it takes us back to 2009. Sparked by an unbridled passion for theatre and an unyielding dedication to bringing top-tier shows and artists from every part of India, Repertwahr was birthed.

What started as a chill little theatre fest has naturally grooved its way into becoming 'India’s Most Unique Performing Arts Festival' as claimed by their organizers. This trendsetting affair, a multidimensional shindig now rolls out the red carpet for theatre, music, stand-up comedy, literary discussions and more. And for this year, the much-awaited event will set up the stage at the La Martiniere ground this December, an equally legendary venue!

This time, Repertwahr is gonna feature a professional level acting workshop!

Another major highlight this time around is BIIIIIG! In this edition, acting and theatre enthusiasts are in for a treat because they'll have the opportunity to participate in an incredible 2-day acting workshop, a first-time occurrence during the festival.

Curated by the Adishakti Theatre a laboratory for theatre art research, this workshop will be guided by nationally renowned acting coaches and experts, offering valuable insights into the fundamentals of the art of acting (really, what better place to attend workshop than the epic Repertwahr Festival).

At the 11th edition of the Repertwahr Festival, theatre enthusiasts can catch some top-notch stage plays like Baaghi Albele, Golden Jubilee, and Bhoomi.

Music, standup shows, theatre plays with a plus amazing Food!

Given the long wait for this exhilarating festival, (sadly, the pandemic break) they've decided to supercharge the fervour surrounding the whole event. Brace yourself, because there's going to be a whole lot more to savour this time around! The 11th Repertwahr Festival will showcase talents like Parvaaz, When Chai Met Toast, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Harsh Gujral, Nidhi Narwal, Nayab Midha, Namit Das and many others who are all set to dazzle the folks in Lucknow.

Besides the epic events that are bound to delight all drama lovers, comedy connoisseurs, music enthusiasts, literary buffs and art aficionados in the city, there's another standout star this time: FOOD! That's right, you heard it correctly. Repertwahr Festival is spicing things up by bringing in a delectable variety of food stalls from numerous iconic city brands at their Zomato Food Bazaar.
