Mumbai Traffic Police Dept releases revised list of max speed limits for city's key routes

In a bid to enhance public safety and minimize disruptions in the Greater Mumbai area, the city's traffic police department has recently updated speed limits on various routes. The revised speed limits, effective immediately, aim to prevent potential hazards and inconveniences for the public.

Below is a list of the newly regulated speed limits for specified routes:

  • P. D'Mello Road, Shahid Bhagat Singh Road - 50 kmph

  • Godrej Junction to Opera House, Maharshi Karve Road - 50 kmph

  • Haji Ali Junction to Mahalaxmi Railway Station, Keshavrao Khade Marg - 50 kmph

  • Bindu Madhav Chowk to Dr. Keshav Balram Hedgewar Chowk (Love Grove) Junction, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road - 60 kmph

  • Diamond Junction to MTNL Junction, Avenue-1 BKC - 60 kmph

  • Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR) - 70 kmph

  • Veer Jijamata Bhosle Flyover, Chembur - 60 kmph

Commuters using the mentioned routes are strongly urged to adhere to the revised speed limits to avoid potential penalties.
