Central Railway gets 'summer ready' with 92 additional trains from Mumbai to several states!

In a bid to cope with the passenger rush ahead of the summer season, Central Railway has decided to operate 92 additional trains from Mumbai. This move will connect the city to several states; read on to know the details of these new services operating from Mumbai.

Here are the new summer special trains added:

  • CSMT-Banaras Weekly Special (01137/01138) will take a total of 10 trips on the Mumbai-Banaras route, between April 21 and May 20.

  • CSMT-Gorakhpur Weekly Special (01169/01102) will take a total of 12 trips on the Mumbai-Gorakhpur route, between April 19 and May 25.

  • LTT-Samastipur Unreserved Weekly Special (01039/01040) will take a total of 14 trips on the Mumbai-Samastipur route, between April 22 and June 4.

  • LTT-Danapur Weekly Special (01155/01156) will also take a total of 14 trips between Mumbai and Danapur from April 15 to May 28.

  • CSMT-Banaras Weekly Special (01141/01142) will operate between Mumbai and Banaras, taking a total of 10 trips from April 15 to May 14.

  • CSMT-Gorakhpur Weekly Special (01143/01144) will take 10 trips on the Mumbai-Gorakhpur route, between April 18 and May 18.

  • CSMT-Asansol Weekly Special (01145/01146) will also take a total of 14 trips on the Mumbai-Asansol route, between April 15 and May 29.

It is noteworthy that the bookings for all these summer special trains from Mumbai begin today on both the reservation centers and the IRCTC website. To know more about these trains, you can check out your NTES app or visit enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
