Punjabi Superstar Diljit Dosanjh's highly anticipated Dil-Luminati India Tour has fans buzzing, but there's one glaring omission- Mumbai. Announced to kick off on October 26 in Delhi, the tour spans ten major cities, including Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, yet skips the Maximum City. This move left Mumbaikars shocked and upset, with many taking to social media to express their disappointment.

Why did Diljit skip Mumbai?

Janamjai Sehgal, part of Dil-Luminati tour's management team, explained that Mumbai was initially omitted due to Dijijt's recent performance in the city. However, following numerous requests, the team is now considering to add Mumbai to the itinerary. The team is reportedly working to accommodate Mumbai, but with a packed schedule, fitting in an additional date poses a challenge.

Despite the Mumbai controversy, pre-sale tickets for other cities have nearly sold out, showcasing Diljit's immense popularity. The India Tour, commencing on October 26, follows his successful performance in North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
