Mumbai's FIRST underground Metro Line 3, also known as Aqua Line’s Phase 1, stretching from Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aarey, was opened to the public on October 7.
The inaugural day of the Aqua Line 3 kicked off at 11 am, drawing a crowd of eager passengers. However, as per Mumbai Metro Line 3’s official X handle, only 18,015 commuters hopped aboard by 6 pm. Reports indicate that this fell short of the target of 400,000 daily riders needed to sustain the financial model.
