Rains expected to return after August 18.

Mumbai's current dry spell, accompanied by generally cloudy skies and scattered light to moderate rainfall, is expected to persist till Friday, says India Meteorological Department (IMD). Following this, IMD has refrained from issuing any weather warnings for Mumbai or its neighbouring districts this week.

The city's temperatures will hover between 27°C and 30°C today, with wind speeds around 13 kilometres per hour. This combination of warmth and rain is likely to create a humid environment today, making it crucial for Mumbaikers to dress appropriately and remain hydrated.

Weekly IMD Weather Forecast for Mumbai

From August 14 to August 16, the weather will remain mostly cloudy, with light rain showers. Daytime temperatures will range between 26°C and 31°C, slightly rising to 32°C on August 16.

By August 17, skies are expected to become partly cloudy, though temperatures will still range between 26 and 32°C. The week will conclude on August 18 with a return of rain, maintaining the city's trend of unsettled weather.

Following a month of heavy rainfall in July, the first half of August has been relatively dry. However, residents across Mumbai are advised to carry umbrellas and plan their activities after considering the weather conditions.
