Independence Rock Fest returns to Mumbai; 29th edition to be held in November

Attention, rock music fans in India! The Independence Rock fest, believed to be the country's oldest rock festival, is set to come back for its 29th edition on November 4 and 5. Last year, the festival was held in Mumbai after a gap of 9 years.

Luckily for Mumbaikars, this edition of the rock fest, titled Mahindra Independence Rock, will be held at the Bayview Lawns in Mumbai's Mazgaon.

This year's festival will feature up-and-coming rock artists

A number of indie rock bands from India have played at the Independence Rock festival, over the years. These include the likes of Parikrama, Pentagram, Demonic Resurrection, Bhayanak Maut, and Zero, among others.

In addition to that, this year's Independence Rock festival will also feature a range of up-and-coming rock artists in India. With the theme 'Tomorrow's Headliners', visitors will get to watch a number of aspiring artists in the genre, some of whom have already garnered a following among rock fans.
