Last year, in compliance with the COVID-19 norms, IPL Season 13 was, for the first time, held in venues outside India. The matches were played across three stadiums in the UAE. At the time, no audience were allowed in match stadiums.
Now, Indian Premier League is coming back home, but will only be played across 6 venues in the country. These are Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai. To avoid home advantage, no team is scheduled to play at their home venue.
Since we're at a very delicate stage with the COVID-19 situation, the BCCI confirmed that the tournament will begin behind closed doors, and a call on letting spectators in will be taken at a later stage.
The start of the IPL season not only marks an almost festive mood among us Indians, but also paves way for the IPL betting scene. This year, since a lot of the information cleared up only recently, it is hard to get an idea on IPL matches and Odds. However, there are a few websites which can help you out.
Once again, the title sponsor for the Indian Premier League is VIVO, the Chinese technology giant. Last year, owing to certain conflicts, the partnership was brought to a halt, but that has been resumed once again for IPL 2021.
