Soho House, the exclusive members-only club for creatives, is making waves in India with its expansion plans. Just five years after its successful debut in Juhu, Soho House is gearing up to open its doors in South Mumbai, along with offering access to members in Goa, Jaipur, and other parts of India.
This move comes on the heels of Soho House Mumbai's thriving presence, which has become a hotspot for the Indian creative community, boasting amenities like a rooftop pool, gym, screening room, and upscale dining options. The luxury club has garnered a significant following in India's creative community, since its inception in London in 1995.
Membership options range from ₹1.6 lakh per annum for access to a single house to ₹3.1 lakh for all-house privileges. The expansion announcement follows the remarkable success of Soho House Mumbai, which has become a hub for creatives, offering a variety of facilities.
In addition to its physical houses, Soho House will introduce its 'Cities Without Houses' (CWH) format in six new Indian cities, including New Delhi, Jaipur, Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. This membership, which operates in 80 cities globally, aims to cater to creative individuals seeking sophisticated spaces for networking and collaboration.
Despite its growth, Soho House reported a net loss in its recent financials, yet remains optimistic about its future endeavours. CWH members can anticipate a vibrant lineup of events, from exclusive dinners and weekend getaways to music performances and fashion experiences, promising an unparalleled membership experience. As Soho House continues to expand its footprint across India, it seeks to enrich the creative community's experience and contribute to the cultural fabric of each city it enters.
