Knocksense Shorts | BEST deploys 10 new double-decker e-buses on Kurla-BKC-Bandra stretch

These new buses have a seating capacity of 65 passengers.

Boosting convenience for those commuting to BKC, the BEST undertaking has begun to operate 10 new double-decker e-buses on route 310, which connects Kurla station (West) and Bandra station (East). Before this, only single-decker non-AC buses operated on the route.

Costing around ₹2 crore, the minimum fare for these new buses is set at ₹6 for a ride lasting 5km. These buses will have a seating capacity of 65 passengers, each. Furthermore, getting fully charged in 1.5 to 3 hours, these new e-buses to BKC can run for up to 250 km on one charge.
