In a bid to boost voter turnout for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections on November 20, the Election Commission has launched the “Utsav Nivadnukicha, Abhiman Maharashtracha” campaign, offering Mumbai voters exciting discounts. Voters can enjoy up to 20% off at selected restaurants, shops, and multiplexes across the city from November 20-22 by simply showing their inked fingers.

Cinema chains like PVR Inox, Cinepolis, and Mirage are offering exclusive discounts from November 20-22, while AHAR-affiliated restaurants are giving 10-20% off on food for November 20-21. Shoppers can also enjoy 10-15% discounts at Maharashtra Retail Association and Reliance Retail outlets. These offers are valid for in-person purchases only—encouraging voters to show up at the polls.

This initiative, created in partnership with the Federation of Retail Traders Welfare Association and other local business associations, seeks to motivate citizens to vote. The campaign’s launch at the Gateway of India featured Bollywood star Rohit Shetty and cricketer Ajinkya Rahane among the notable attendees.
