Multi-city Film Festival to honour Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 45-year Bollywood legacy

In Mumbai, Lucknow, and 26 other cities, younger audiences will get a chance to watch Chopra's classics.

Celebrating 45 years of cinematic brilliance, filmmaker-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is set to be honoured with a special film festival. This festival, scheduled from October 13 to October 19, is being organised by the Film Heritage Foundation in collaboration with PVR Inox. The fest will captivate audiences in 28 cities across India, including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.

The 7-day film festival promises to be a memorable journey through Chopra's illustrious filmography, including classics like 'Khamosh' and 'Sazaye Maut'. Younger viewers will have the unique opportunity to experience Chopra's early works on the big screen for the first time.

Further, this film festival will also explore his contributions as a producer, by showcasing hits like 'Parineeta', 'Munna Bhai MBBS', 'Lage Raho Munnabhai,' and '3 Idiots'. Currently, Bollywood fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's upcoming movie, '12 Fail'.
