Traffic congestion is all set to intensify at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex due to road closure. It must be noted that the two BKC roads that will be closed from 12 AM on Tuesday, include the stretch from Diamond Bourse Junction to JSW Centre and Platina building junction to Motilal Nehru Nagar Trade Centre.

The said roads will stay shut till June 30, 2024.

These roads are being shut to traffic due to Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet train station work. Furthermore, the said routes will stay shut till June 30, 2024. But Mumbai Traffic Police have already issued alternative routes for commuters on the aforementioned roads:

  • Commuters who usually take the route from Razzak Junction in Kurla to Diamond Bourse Junction and towards Kherwadi to the JSW office, can instead take a right from the Asian Heart Hospital.

  • Commuters arriving from Motilal Nehru Nagar Trade Centre, going towards Platina Junction, can now opt for a left and a right towards the MTNL junction.

  • Rather than taking the Razzak Junction to the Trade Centre route, commuters can now turn left at MTNL Junction.

  • Those going to the JSW office via Kherwadi and Asian Heart Hospital, can now opt for a left turn from Nabard Junction, towards BKC.
