Mumbai Airport bags the ‘Best Airport With Over 40 Million Passengers’ title for the 7th time

These awards are based on passenger feedback and hold prestigious value in the aviation industry.

Mumbaikars, we have some exciting news for you! For the 7th consecutive year, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai has been adjudged as the “Best Airport for over 40 million passengers” recently. The Mumbai Airport bagged the esteemed title in the Asia Pacific Region by the Airports Council International's (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards, 2023.

Winning the honour of the Best Airport by Size and Region in the 'over 40 million passenger' category for the 7th consecutive time, is undoubtedly an incredible landmark. In the same category, next in line were Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (Guangdong, China) and Incheon International Airport (Incheon, Republic of Korea) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi, India). 

This award recognises CSMIA’s successful efforts and reflects its resolute commitment towards exceptional customer facilities such as installation of 2D Barcode readers, advanced Parking Guidance System, artificial intelligence and facial recognition technology at T2.

These awards are based on passenger feedback and hold prestigious value in the aviation industry. ACI World Director-General Luis Felipe de Oliveira said that “the ASQ awards celebrate more than outstanding customer experience; it recognises the innovation and dedication of your entire airport team. Congratulations to Mumbai International Airport for your hard work that is redefining the airport experience".
