Mumbai Airport launches Winter Schedule 2024 with 3,372 weekly flights & new global routes

A 2% rise compared to the Winter Schedule of 2023.

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has launched its winter schedule, to boost the city's travel network. Starting October 27 and continuing through March 29, 2025, an additional 964 daily flights have been launched to accommodate the winter travel surge.

This season, travellers can enjoy expanded services to international destinations such as Toronto, Bangkok, London, and Amman. With a total of 3,372 weekly flights, including 2,361 domestic and 1,011 international, CSMIA is ensuring a seamless travel experience during this season of festivities. 

With a surge in travel across both domestic and international routes, Mumbai Airport is expecting a 4% increase compared to the summer schedule of 2024 and a 2% rise compared to the Winter Schedule of 2023.

New international routes for Mumbai travellers

New routes are on the horizon, with Thai VietJet introducing daily flights from Mumbai to Bangkok in December. Further, Virgin Atlantic is launching a second daily flight to London Heathrow from October 28, and Royal Jordanian will fly 4 weekly flights to Amman, between February and March 2025.

IndiGo dominates domestic and international sectors

IndiGo continues to shine in the Aviation Sector, commanding a 47% share in the domestic market, followed by Air India at 19% and Vistara at 17%. On the international front, IndiGo remains a key player with a 20% market share, while Air India and Vistara follow with 13% and 10%, respectively.
