21 patients tested positive for COVID JN.1 Variant in Mumbai

Mumbai has reported its initial 21 instances of the COVID JN.1 variant, recognized as the latest form of the Omicron strain.

Among the 21 individuals, all exhibited mild symptoms, with two having comorbidities. Fortunately, all patients have successfully recovered and remain in stable condition.

1 hour halt to remain in effect at Mumbai, Juhu airports between Jan 12-14

Due to planned IAF air exercises, both Mumbai and Juhu airports will be temporarily closed to civilian flights from 12 pm to 1 pm for three consecutive days, specifically from January 12 to 14.

Private air carriers have been duly informed of this schedule, and no flights are permitted to land during the specified hours.

City to host vintage vehicles exhibit between Jan 27-28

Bringing a delightful experience for motor enthusiasts in Mumbai, the Vintage and Classic Car Club of India (VCCCI), in collaboration with the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), is set to host a Vintage Car Drive on Republic Day.

The two-day exhibition on January 26 and 27 will showcase a splendid collection of vintage, classic and super cars, as well as bikes at the World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade.

Mumbai Coastal Road Project set to open for public by Feb

The construction work for the MCRP is expected to conclude by January 31, paving the way for the opening of the high-speed corridor to vehicles. Upon its operational commencement in the first week of February, the MCRP is anticipated to be in service for 12 hours on weekdays, exclusively accommodating south-bound traffic.

The Meteorological Centre, Mumbai, forecasts unseasonal rainfall across Mumbai and other state cities in the next 24 hours. Expect cloudy weather, scattered rain, and thunder in various regions. Rain clouds have already appeared over Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and nearby areas. The IMD predicts additional rainfall and a temperature dip in the next 24 hours.
