Air India's subsidiary, Alliance Air, is all set to begin direct flights from Mumbai to Goa and vice versa, December 4 onwards. The decision was taken by the airlines in an effort to expand its presence and also to provide convenience to passengers, especially during the festive season. The airline has assured that the team will be following all the government guidelines and SOPs, pertaining to the pandemic.

According to the airline officials, new flights have been introduced on the route to cater to the needs of passengers in December. The airline has introduced an all-in-one inclusive one-way fare for Mumbai to Goa, starting at ₹2957 and for Goa to Mumbai, the cost is marked at ₹3171. Currently, the lowest fare for a flight from Mumbai to Goa, amounts to ₹3691 according to www.yatra.com.
The airline highlighted the fact that government guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP) will be strictly followed in respect to the ongoing pandemic. All required precautionary measures are being taken within the aircraft as well at the time of check-in, boarding and arrival at the destination. All aircrafts are being disinfected after each flight to eliminate any risk of contagion.
The spread of the deadly coronavirus is on a rise yet again and states are trying their best to fight the pandemic. People are required to stay at home and travel less but the direct flight initiative by Air India's subsidiary, Alliance Air, will definitely help passengers to travel safely while bagging affordable rates.
