Not one person who frequents social media will ever doubt Mumbai Police's A-quality social media game. They know how to get in the head of the youth, and in a good way! In a savage yet funny, informative yet fun manner, the department is always able to drive the message home.
This time, shedding light on the increase in cyber crimes lately and spreading awareness about the same, the Mumbai Police used reference from Schitt's Creek, a popular Canadian sitcom and comedy show.
"You don't take your accounts e-safety seriously? Ew, David!" they wrote highlighting the iconic catchphrase by Alexis Rose in the show.
With their new tweet, Mumbai Police mentioned that it is always a bad idea to keep an extremely simple account password, sharing the same with anybody else, and not proceeding with the two-step verification (because it is supposedly a tedious process) can lead to cyber crimes.
Throwing light on some of these common mistakes made by social media users, the Police used a meme from Schitt's Creek where the character David Rose says, "I have never heard someone say so many wrong things... consecutively... in a row!"
The post saw hilarious responses by netizens, who appreciated the spot on meme game of the Mumbai Police.
In their latest post, they also assured the people that no miscreant can escape them, writing, "Think you can manage mischief? Not on our watch!" The popular reference can't be missed by the Harry Potter fans in the house, especially when the post also mentioned a certain 'punny' charm, "Expecto Patrol-lus!"
