Mumbai felt the worst of October heat on Wednesday with the daytime temperature reaching as high as 35.8°C. Notably, this was 1.6°C above normal and the trend is expected to continue with dry weather in Mumbai predicted by IMD, up until Sunday.
According to experts at the Indian Meteorological Department, this rise in temperature has been caused by the prevailing easterly winds. As for the forecast after Sunday, there are slight chances of rain in the city with an overcast sky.
