On the first day of August, Mumbai was a sweltering affair, with humidity causing significant discomfort. However, as evening approached, the weather took a turn, with light rain falling in a few isolated areas. It appears that the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Yellow Alert for August 1 did not align with the actual weather conditions.

On to today’s weather update -- Mumbai is currently experiencing a weather rollercoaster with moderate showers making brief appearances before giving way to clear skies. As per IMD, Mumbai and its suburban areas will remain cloudy, with heavy rains expected later today. Additionally, temperature is forecasted to range between a minimum of 26°C and a maximum of 31°C.

Moreover, for now, Mumbai’s weather is making headlines with a Yellow Alert in place for today and tomorrow, followed by no warnings for August 4-5.
