Mumbai’s first T-shaped flyover at Mith Chowky, Malad, is set to be inaugurated today and will open for public use from October 6, specifically for two-wheelers and light vehicles. Spanning 800 meters and costing around ₹55 crores, the flyover is designed to reduce traffic congestion, with its east-west arm to be operational first and the southern arm launch expected by year-end. Due to the overhead Metro 2-A line, heavy vehicles and buses will remain on the lower road.
