Travel time between Jaipur and Ballabhgarh will now be cut short! This project is a part of the mega Delhi-Mumbai Expressway

Streamlined interstate access in a country via road networks and motorways can not only significantly reduce commute time but can also boost the country's overall economy by contributing to multiple sectors such as industrial, tourism, and others.

The Delhi-Agra highway will be connected to the new motorway by a 20-km link. The multi-lane Delhi-Agra highway will be opened for the public, making it easy for commuters between Jaipur and Ballabhgarh to travel, cutting on down travel time and resources expended.

About the connectivity and segment division

This comes as a sigh of relief for the ones who are traveling to Jaipur from Ballabhgarh. People no more have to travel to Sohna via Gurgaon. In fact, residents will soon be able to use the recently opened Sohna-Dausa-Lalsot stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai motorway to travel to Jaipur from Ballabhgarh via the Delhi-Agra highway. This highway has been divided into 3 phases for seamless connectivity, the completion of which is scheduled by April, 2024.

The initial segment will be a 9-kilometer elevated corridor along the Yamuna from the DND Flyway to Jaitpur in South Delhi, which will exclusively be used for motorway traffic. The 25km second phase, which runs over an existing bypass from Jaitpur to Ballabhgarh, will include 6 lanes with no signals for motorway traffic. NHAI is building service roads with three lanes each, on both sides to accommodate local traffic. The third package is a link in the bundle set to be announced as 'functional' this week.

Indeed a productive investment!

According to the sources, the highway was initially planned differently, that was from Sohna to Mumbai, which was later revised and was made to connect to Delhi. Once the web of the motorways link becomes all operational, it will unclog the Ashram-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh stretch of NH-44 and travelers can travel nonstop from Dehradun and Lucknow to Mumbai.
