The Mumbai Traffic Police have announced potential traffic disruptions around the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) due to the Global Fintech Fest 2024. Taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre from August 28 to 30, this major event is anticipated to attract large crowds, causing significant congestion in the area from 9 AM to 8 PM daily.
To avoid extended travel times, the traffic police advise steering clear of BKC during these peak hours.
Commuters are urged to avoid the BKC route during the peak hours to prevent delays. Authorities recommend using alternative routes:
Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road (JVLR)
Santa Cruz-Chembur Link Road (SCLR)
Eastern Freeway
The Global Fintech Fest, one of the largest annual fintech conferences, is back with its fifth edition. This year's theme, 'Blueprint for the Next Decade of Finance: Responsible AI | Inclusive | Resilient,' focuses on future finance innovations. The event is jointly organised by the Payments Council of India (PCI), the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC).
