Upcoming Coldplay concert drives 33x surge in Mumbai hotel searches: Agoda Report

Five-star hotels near DY Patil Stadium, have hiked rates to ₹1 lakh per night.

Mumbai is set to welcome back Coldplay in January 2025 for a three-day concert, as part of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour. The announcement has triggered Mumbai’s hospitality sector for a rush of visitors. Travel platform Agoda reports a 33-fold surge in hotel searches, with fans gearing up to experience paradise live.

Five-star hotels within a 20 km radius of DY Patil Stadium, the concert venue, have hiked rates to nearly ₹1 lakh per night for the concert dates, following ticket sales on September 22. Tickets sold out almost immediately, and domestic accommodation searches on Agoda spiked 45-fold that day alone. 

Coldplay's return has also drawn international fans, with top accommodation searches coming from the UK, UAE, France, Spain, and Australia.

Coldplay returns to Mumbai 

Coldplay is set to perform in Mumbai on 18, 19, and 21 January at DY Patil Stadium. The band will showcase songs from their Album of the Year, Music of the Spheres, as well as new singles like We Pray and Feels Like I’m Falling in Lovefrom. Fans can also look forward to Coldplay’s greatest hits throughout the concert.
