With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, the buzz is already building up in Mumbai. Recently, a photo of a distinctive Lord Ganesha idol, themed after the T20 World Cup trophy went viral.

Crafted by the members of Lambodar Ganpati Sarvajanik Mandal of Khetwadi, this idol features Lord Ganesha alongside Mushak Raj, holding the coveted trophy, celebrating India’s T20 World Cup win.

India clinched its second T20 World Cup title in June, ending an 11-year trophy drought with a thrilling victory over South Africa. The cricketing triumph was celebrated with great fanfare in Mumbai, including a grand reception and a victory parade at Wankhede Stadium. The BCCI honoured the team with a generous cash prize of ₹125 crore.
