Reportedly, these roadshows will be held in Paris (France) on October 26, Zurich (Switzerland) on October 28, Frankfurt (Germany) on November 1, and Vienna (Austria) on November 3. As per the officials, over 75 industry experts, general public and other stakeholders in the tourism industry will be participating in the roadshow.
The GTDC (Goa Tourism Development Corporation) has selected these venues after a brief study based on social media trends, statistics and the quantum of visitors. The move is aimed at targetting prospective international tourist market, promoting Goa's culture, traditions, service and more.
Additionally, a one-to-one meeting with local travel and tour operators, media persons and travel influencers will be organised. Merchandise for the branding of the state will be also distributed during each roadshow. As per the officials, promoting Goa's rich and unexplored culture and heritage is a must as the world is now coming out of the hollow created due to the two years of COVID hiatus.
