Look forward to your next workation in Goa with new co-working spaces on the beaches!
With the new concept of having co-working spaces on beaches, the Goa government is all for promoting the workation in Goa culture that has engulfed the current Indian travellers. As per reports, three co-working spaces will come up in Caranzalem, Benaulim and Morjim.
The post pandemic situation is seeing more and more corporates comfortable with having their employees work from home or remotely. Thus, this step could possibly make for a great leap in tourism. The decision allows professionals to come to the emerald land and work on Goa beaches in the magnificence of the breathtaking ocean.
Now, go surfing whilst working!
Goa Tourism and Information and Technology (IT) Minister Rohan Khaunte said the state should be developed on lines of the T-Hub, a triple helix business incubator and innovation intermediary in Hyderabad.
He added that during the initial peg, North Goa's Morjim and Miramar beaches and South Goa district's Benaulim beach will host the co-working spaces.
"A person can work, go and surf on the beach and come back, take a shower and resume work through these co-working spaces on the beaches. We want such people who would opt to work from home to come here and work from these co-working spaces and also help us in the IT ecosystem."

Workation culture is here to stay
With smart decisions to incorporate the work culture trends of today's world, tourism can be greatly improved. Not everyone can remain at home, stay inside the four walls, and work remotely every day. And that is where the importance of vacation spots come in. If these places can make life easier for the working professionals, workations will start becoming extremely influential in the success of both the employer and global tourism.
