COVID graph continues to showcase downfall in India, daily positivity rate dips down to 2.23%
With 27,409 fresh COVID infections recorded across the country on Monday, the graph of infection continues to showcase a downward slope in India. As per the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday, India's daily positivity rate has gone down to 2.23% while the weekly positivity rate has dipped to 3.63%. Active caseload dips down to around 4.23 lakh cases in India

Reportedly, 82,817 patients in India marked their recovery on Monday taking the toll of recoveries to 4,17,60,458, as of February 15. At the same time, a total of 346 fatalities were also reported across the country.
Accounting for 0.99% of the total cases reported ever since the beginning of the pandemic, the active caseload of COVID in the country has come down to 4,23,127 infections. As per ministry data, a total of 74.30 crore tests have been conducted across the country so far, including 12,29,536 tests conducted on Monday.

Under the ambit of the nationwide vaccination drive which was kickstarted in January 2021, around 173.42 crore doses of vaccine against coronavirus have been administered in the country so far.
As per data on coWIN, over 75 crore beneficiaries have been fully-inoculated against COVID in India while 20 crore people are yet to take the second jab. On the other hand, 1,69,36,607 adults in India have taken the third, precaution dose of vaccine against coronavirus as well.
