International Coffee Day | What kind of coffee drinker are YOU?
What would we do if not for coffee, right? Because when it all seems to fall apart, a cup of coffee is like that much-needed tight hug. Admiration aside, all of us have a different type of relationship with our go-to beverage. This International Coffee Day, let's poke some fun at the different types of coffee drinkers we are and those we come across!
"How much coffee is too much coffee?"
Starting with the ones who simply don't know when to stop. Be it your friend group or the workplace, there's always that one person who is found sipping on a cup all day. Five? Six? Seven? Eight? Doesn't matter how many they've had, there's always room for one more.
"Let's discuss this over coffee"
Be it workplace gossip or the pandemonium of personal life, some people can't discuss anything without a cup of coffee. For these conversationalists, the aroma of good coffee somehow goes perfectly well with the spice (masala would be a better word to use here) of their "discussions".
"Don't talk to me before I've had my coffee"
Then come the type who simply can't function before they've got their first hit of caffeine. Remember, they're not the 'all day coffee' type we talked about above. These harmless souls just want their first cup of coffee before the work begins (just let them have their cuppa in peace).
"I'll tell you what great coffee is..."
How can we not bow in honour of the great connoisseurs? These are the people who take their coffee seriously. For them, it's not just about having coffee, it's about having GREAT coffee...ALL THE TIME. We've got to thank them, though, because these folks always know the best coffee spot.
"No tea for me, only coffee"
In football, most Ronaldo fans end up as Messi haters. Apply the same logic to the Tea vs Coffee debate and you have these people. For these polarizing peeps, saying that they love coffee is never enough. They want to go out of the way to show their dislike for Tea (we can almost see tea-lovers fuming with righteous indignation on this one).
"Try black coffee once, it's the best"
When it comes to debates and rivalries, they exist within the world of coffee-holics, too. Because there are some who are of the opinion that 'black coffee is real coffee'. And they never miss out on the opportunity to replace your cup of Cappuccino with some Americano (Trust us, we have some of these folks at work here at Knocksense, too).
