As a symbolic gesture, Suriname confers President Murmu with their highest civilian award

As a gesture to honour the bilateral ties between India and Suriname, the latter has conferred President Draupadi Murmu with its highest civilian award. The award was presented by Suriname's President Chandrikapersad Santokhi on President Murmu's 3-day state visit to the South American nation.

Driven by the boost in the ecommerce industry, the Internet economy of India has been predicted to register a six times growth to reach $1 trillion by 2030. The joint report by Google, Temasek and Bain & Company also found out that the India's internet economy's share in the GDP will also grow to 12-13 per cent.

Gold prices surge by ₹375; Silver also climbs ₹50

Gold prices in the national capital rose by ₹375 to reach ₹60,775 per 10 gram on Tuesday, in the midst of a global rally in precious metal prices. In addition to that, Silver prices also reached ₹72,950 per kilogramme with an increase of ₹50.
