The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the dense fog over Northwest India and regions adjoining Central India will continue for three to four days. It is noteworthy that the dense fog is already affecting buses, trains, and flights, as well.

Western Uttar Pradesh is bearing the major brunt of the fog with Agra and Bareilly witnessing zero visibility. Similarly, areas in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi have been engulfed in fog, with zero visibility during early mornings and late nights.

Furthermore, the thick fog has also led to several states announcing early winter holidays and changing school timings.
