UK invites applications from Indian women for a chance to be 'High Commissioner for a Day'

The British High Commission is offering an opportunity for Indian women to live one day in the shoes of a top UK diplomat. The pan-India competition is being organised to celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11.

Women of Indian origin who are between the ages 18-23 are eligible to apply. Interested candidates can apply for a chance to head the diplomatic mission for a day by recording and uploading a one-minute video answering the question, ‘How can young people help lead the way in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?’

Here's how one can apply

This aforementioned video has to be shared on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn where @UKinIndia should be tagged with hashtag #DayOfTheGirl included. While only one entry per participant is allowed, the last date for submitting online forms is August 18.
