IIM Indore launches innovation-packed 'Trash to Treasure Challenge' to manage waste in India

After the roaring success of its recent Logo Making Competition, Indian Institute of Management (IIM Indore) is now unveiling its latest endeavour – the Trash to Treasure Challenge!

This unique business pitch deck competition, aims to inspire minds of college students across India to revolutionise waste management through groundbreaking solutions aligned with Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0. Organised by IIM Indore's Centre of Excellence ANVESHAN, this competition guarantees cash prizes upto ₹50,000 and here are all the details:

Competition Details:

• The competition is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from any discipline.

• Each team of 2 to 3 participants can submit only one entry.

• The participants may choose from a variety of themes relevant to the objectives and mission of ANVESHAN, including waste segregation, collection, transportation, processing; waste reduction, recycling, composting; waste-to-energy/bio-methanation techniques; improved access to clean water; sanitation facilities; or promoting hygiene practices.

• The top 10 entries from the first round will move to the second round, where they will be required to present their business pitch virtually in front of a panel of judges in 5-6 minutes.

• The submission deadline for the competition is May 21, 2024.
