Keeping this in mind, the Indore district administration issued an order warning citizens about rough weather conditions for the upcoming days. Reportedly, the order also banned visits to any picnic spots in or near Indore.
State Disaster Response Force teams will monitor weather conditions in Indore
The move by the Indore administration came after the meteorological department issued an Orange alert for Indore, Ujjain and the Narmadapuram divisions of Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, this ban on public visits to picnic spots will remain in place for 15 days. Additionally, the order also bans the movement of fishermen on rivers and nearby ghats for the next 20 days.
Additionally, IMD also issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms with lightning strikes at isolated places in the districts of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Shahdol Rewa, Sagar, Chambal and Gwalior divisions.
