India is hosting test matches between India and Australia as a part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series. With a thumping lead gained by the Indian team during the tournament opener in Nagpur, two other matches between both contenders are scheduled to be held in different cities of India.

As per the recent update, the third test of the series is now slated to take place in Indore's Holkar Stadium between March 1 to 5. The match was originally scheduled to be played in the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium of Dharamshala, however, the venue was ruled out due to subpar outfield conditions.

Matches will be a part of ICC World Test Championship

The cricket fanatics of Indore and other nearby MP cities will yet again get a chance to witness the nerve-wracking game between both formidable international contenders. The stakes are even higher for the third game, as the match could possibly decide the winner of the series. As a result of this, the game is imbued with an extra layer of tension and excitement.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a test cricket series played between India and Australia. Right now, India holds the lead after defeating Australia during 2020-21 by two Tests to one, with one drawn match.

Furthermore, the matches of the series will also be a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship that will determine the finalist for the tournament.
