Air India to resume direct international flight from Indore to Dubai from September 1

International travel from Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport to UAE will be resumed once again. As per reports, Madhya Pradesh's first international service since the COVID outbreak will become operational from September 1 onwards. This non-stop flight will operate weekly, every Wednesday. As per protocols, it will be compulsory for all passengers to get a COVID-19 test before undertaking the journey to ensure maximum safety against infection.

Air India has decided to resume air services between India and UAE, via the Bengaluru-Indore-Dubai flight. As per the schedule, the flight will begin its journey from Bengaluru to Indore and then, directly to Dubai. Departure from Bengaluru has been slated at 9:45 AM on September 1, with arrival at 11:35 AM in Indore. The flight will take off for Dubai at 12:35 PM and terminate its journey at the Dubai airport, at 3:05 PM in the afternoon.

The return journey will also chart the same course, from Dubai to Indore and then Bengaluru. The flight will run on the return route on the same day at 4:05 PM IST from Dubai and reach the Indore Airport at 8:55 PM IST. The Indore-Bengaluru flight will take off at 9:55 PM and reach at 11:45 PM, read reports.

It may be noted that Air India, the country's only government airline, initially launched the Indore-Dubai flight in 2019. Back then it used to then run three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, these flights were suspended.
