Indore inches closer to the inauguration of the Metro rail system as the trial run is likely to be conducted in September

The MP Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRCL) administration is aiming to kick off the trial run of Indore Metro in September. During this time, a thorough assessment of the metro system's performance under different scenarios, including peak hours, varying weather conditions, and heavy passenger loads will be taken into consideration.

The authorities overseeing the Indore Metro project are all to initiate the trial run along a 6-kilometer stretch of the super corridor. Every aspect of the metro infrastructure is being fine-tuned, including the tracks, signaling systems, stations, and rolling stock.

The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) team will diligently examine the operational safety, traction, and power supply of the metro. The evaluation will also aim to examine the power supply, signaling system at Indore metro stations.
