Spreading traffic awareness through dance? This citizen in Indore is doing precisely that!
Indore is known for its quirky ways of spreading awareness about important issues. The city is home to a one of a kind traffic robocop who manages traffic at a major square in the city, which in itself is truly unheard of! Now, a dedicated citizen has taken matters into her own hands and aims to spread traffic awareness through dance. If this rings a bell, it is perhaps akin to the dancing traffic cop, who made quite a few headlines in his heyday.
This lady however, is no traffic cop, rather, she is an ordinary citizen who is out to make a difference. The videos of her dancing on the streets went viral a few weeks ago and she seems to have made a huge impact on Indoris.
What's the update?

Shubhi Jain is an MBA student from Symbiosis Pune and has really taken the issue of traffic congestion in Indore to heart. With her dance moves, Shubhi has got a unique way of not just managing traffic, but also spreading awareness about the same.
She has been volunteering with Indore traffic police for a while now and urges commuters to wear helmets, put on seat belts and follow traffic rules. This is another quirky and extremely Indori way to go about things, though the initiative will surely have a long lasting impact on Indoris while turning the vision of a smart Indore into reality.
According to reports, the efforts of this proactive citizen have not gone in vain. People have actually heeded her advice and there has been a notable increase in those who wear helmets and seat belts. Though, this could also be alluded to the fact that Indore has a rather young population and an initiative like this one actually resonates with them.
Knock Knock
When it comes to innovative solutions to mundane problems, Indore seems to have a pandora's box full of them. Though this dance frenzy may seem like a minor step towards a greater cause, it surely is the new-age need of the hour.
