In order to make the study material available online, the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Madhya Pradesh, has announced to develop e-content. As per the reports, around 2000 subject experts will take on the task of developing e-content for second-year undergrads. These subject experts will be trained to come up with digitised study material depending upon the requirements.

E-content to be available by July 1

As per the reports, the syllabus is almost ready for students in the second year of college. It will soon be available on the higher education web portal. The e-content is also being prepared simultaneously and is likely to be available during the same time. This initiative conforms with the National Education Policy (NEP).

The department has already made the syllabus and course content available online for first-year students in accordance with the policy. Lectures upwards of 800 are available online for these students. These numbers include lectures for 20 vocational subjects. It is expected that 20 more will be added this year.

Officials share that the first two units will be digitally available by July, right in time for the session to start. Furthermore, the whole syllabus will be uploaded in from of e-content on their portal by the end of this year.

This initiative of making course content available online will help students access classes and study material easily. This would also ensure that classes missed for any reason by the students do not leave them without any study material.
