After three days of intense sessions on advanced sorghum cultivation research in Indore, the 'Millets Mission 2023-24' training program came to an end. Twenty-five farmers from the village of Gyaraspur in the Vidisha district, participated in the event. They got the chance to see the Soybean Research Centre and experimented with the newest soybean varieties. Plant scientist Dr. Prakash also gave them some insights into current wheat research at the Wheat Research Centre.

With discussions on advanced sorghum cultivation led by special guest Dr. BB Kushwaha, the program was inaugurated by Agriculture University Dean Dr. KN Pathak. Among the program's essential components were field trips and discussions on integrated cropping systems, pest management, and sorghum study. The program, which was led by Dr. Nisha Sapre and coordinated by ATMA, focused on the advantages of incorporating grains into farming systems, seed distribution to farmers, and education about soil testing and practical applications.
