A 13-member squad, on a cleanliness study tour from Uttar Pradesh, conducted a thorough tour throughout the city of Indore. The members of the team are administrative officers of the Swachh Bharat Mission and public representatives from UP cities like Jhansi, Aligarh, Bareilly, Etawah, Vrindavan, Farrukhabad, Saharanpur, and Kushinagar.

They discussed Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC)'s solid waste management system that encompasses door-to-door garbage collection, six-bin waste segregation, and garbage transfer stations. They also observed the bio CNG plant, the plant located at the Devguradia trenching ground, ICCC command centre, waste processing plant, and so on. The goal is to inculcate such practices and technologies in cities within UP.

Indore, that clenched the title of the cleanest city for the sixth consecutive year in October, also holds the title of one of the smartest cities in India. The city also frequently puts in efforts to achieve a green revolution, thus, inspiring other cities to follow its footsteps in the process.
