Preparations are in full swing for the 4th G20 EWG meeting in Indore; To be held between July 19-21
The city of Indore is now making preparations for the highly anticipated 4th and final G20 Employment Working Group Meeting (EWG), scheduled to take place from July 19 to 21. With the objective of successfully organizing this significant event, the local administration has initiated the implementation of essential arrangements.
Similar to previous work group meetings held under India's G20 presidency, the forthcoming G20 EWG meeting in Indore will witness the active involvement of international delegates and representatives from G20 nations. In light of this significant gathering, a team of officials from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has already visited Indore to oversee the preparations and ensure their smooth execution.

The 3rd EWG meeting under India's G20 presidency was conducted in International Labour Headquaters (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting witnessed active participation from delegates representing 78 G20 Members, Invitee Countries, Guest Countries, and International Organizations.
The EWG is one of several working groups within the G20 framework, and its purpose is to discuss and coordinate policies related to employment and labour issues among G20 member countries.
The motive of EWG meetings is generally to promote dialogue and collaboration among G20 members to address key employment challenges, foster inclusive growth and enhance employment outcomes globally.
