Owing to a dip in daily COVID-19 cases, the state continues to unlock schooling activities in a phased manner. As per the guidelines issued by the Rajasthan government dated January 29, 2022, the schools for classes 10-12 were opened from February 1, and for classes 6 to 9 from February 10. And now with the new guidelines, the students will also have an option to choose between online and offline classes. For students appearing for physical classes, written consent from their parents has been made mandatory.

As per the modified guidelines from the central government, the decision to initiate physical classes was put on the state/Union Territories. On the issue dated February 2, the central government also asked the state government to prepare bridge courses for physical classes, ensuring equitable education for all.

Additionally, the state government has ended all existing restrictions related to COVID-19 in Rajasthan. However, a set of revised guidelines has been issued that mandates the revealing of the number of vaccinated and un-vaccinated employees in every functioning office, lack thereof will compel action by the authorities.
