Golden Triangle: Jaipur-Delhi-Agra E-Highway soon will be Geo-fenced

India storms ahead with an ambitious plan to achieve clean and green surface transport, and provide world-class facilities on e-highways.

India's Golden Triangle, the Jaipur-Delhi-Agra Highway, will soon become an E-Highway, complete with Geo-fencing: The Ultimate Grid. This will help electric vehicles run on a theft proof relay model, with 24 hours surveillance.

Geo-fencing uses global positioning system (GPS) and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, creating a virtual geographic boundary and enabling software to trigger an action when a device enters or leaves a particular area.

Geo-fencing work of these highways is being commissioned by various tech companies including EoDB Services and UNL Global in association with National Highways for EV (NHEV).

Internet of Places by UNL Global

UNL Global is a next-gen, smart micro-location and mapping platform which is building an Internet of Places - A digital, 1:1, geo-data server, to upload places on a digital platform, enabling users to interact with stations, vehicles, Road Side Assistance (RSA) services in real time.

UNL enables businesses to create virtual private maps and gives every location a unique verifiable digital address –a UNL geoID.

UNL Global has collaborated with NHEV to participate in this pilot. This will bring forward a new generation of hyper local services, from e-commerce and last-mile delivery, to smart mobility and autonomous solutions.
