From the preparation of the meals in the kitchens to the management and maintenance jobs, the workers take care of everything efficiently. By working in two shifts with a batch of 15 people employed in each, the staff is assuring quality meals to COVID stricken people in the hospitals. While it was difficult for them to manage their own needs earlier, they are now working towards an altruistic cause with no personal benefits.
At the centre, optimal hygiene standards are being practiced. Besides proper sanitisation and regular cleaning of the worn apparel, the authorities also ensure that the temperatures and health of the workers are monitored daily. Given the current uncertain circumstances, such steps are necessary to reduce the possibilities of unchecked transmission.
