In line with the current state guidelines, the host association has not placed any restrictions on crowd attendance. People who've only taken a single jab of the COVID vaccine can also enter the stadium with a negative test report within 48 hours from the beginning of the game. However, according to the official of the Rajasthan Cricket Association, no one will be allowed to enter the stadium without wearing a mask. Set to take place in the stadium with the capacity to host 25,000 people, this match is expected to bring cricket enthusiast back to the stadium post the pandemic.
Notably, this is the first international match that will be played in the country without any restriction in the era of coronavirus. While the crowd was permitted during the home series of India against England, the number of spectators were set at a cap of 50% only. Eventually, the game was played with no audience owing to the spike in COVID cases.
